Gareth D. Williams, Ph.D. (1990) in Classics, Cambridge, is Professor of Classics at Columbia University. He is the editor of SenecaÂ’s De otio and De breuitate uitae (2003) and the author of recent articles on SenecaÂ’s Natural Questions.
